Si è svolto a Giulianova (Teramo) un convegno organizzato dalla CGIL in ricordo di Pasquale Di Massimantonio, dirigente della Cgil di Giulianova e, successivamente, negli anni '70, segretario provinciale teramano scomparso il 24 giungo del 1991.

Titolo del convegno: "per ragionare dell'oggi, per preparare giorni e stagioni a misura dei sogni dei giovani, delle lavoratrici, dei lavoratori e dei pensionati".

Davanti ad una sala strapiena, con tante persone rimaste in piedi ha presenziato Susanna Camusso, segretario nazionale della CGIL.

Diversi sono stati gli argomenti affrontati da Susanna Camusso: dal complicato rapporto con le altre sigle sindacali al governo del fare di Berlusconi che non fa niente per l'Italia e tanto per se stesso, dalle manovre economiche insoddisfacenti di Tremonti che non garantisce il futuro dei giovani agli scandali sessuali del capo del governo.

Il segretario nazionale della CGIL ha criticato la riforma della scuola e dell'università del ministro Gelmini.
Riforma scolastica che, a suo dire, porterà allo sfacelo della scuola pubblica e ad un aumento del potere dei baroni universitari.

Giudizio negativo per come si sta realizzando la riforma federalistica che probabilmente causerà molti problemi in quanto molti comuni saranno costretti ad aumentare le tasse per continuare a garantire servizi oppure ad operare dei grossi tagli dei servizi sociali.

Susanna Camusso ha commentato negativamente l'ipotesi degli altri sindacati, CISL e UIL, di una tassazione dei consumi e ha indicato l'esigenza di una patrimoniale sulla falsariga delle altre nazioni europee.
Perchè non è socialmente giusto non aumentare le tasse ai detentori di redditi finanziari, cioè a coloro che hanno immeritatamente goduto di una tassazione troppo bassa.

Tra gli applausi dei presenti ha chiesto al governo di garantire un futuro migliore, attraverso la creazione di posti di lavoro, ai giovani

Non poteva non commentare la manifestazione delle donne del 13 febbraio che ha visto la partecipazione di donne e uomini uniti nel chiedere a chi governa maggior rispetto alle donne.
Manifestazione "se non ora quando" alla quale Susanna Camusso ha partecipato da protagonista.

Appaluditissimo il passaggio in cui ha fatto riferimenti al "bunga bunga" e al giro di donne di giovane età con la presenza di alcune minorenni utilizzate al soddisfacimento del drago.

«Il nostro Paese non merita di essere rappresentato da un presidente del Consiglio imputato per reati di questo genere.
Un Paese democratico è un Paese in cui la giustizia è uguale per tutti, per gli elettori come per gli eletti.
Noi siamo in un Paese immobile che dovrebbe interloquire col resto del mondo, ma è esposto invece al suo ludibrio.
A un amministratore delegato (Marchionne, ndr) che ritiene fondamentale eliminare una pausa di 10 minuti vorrei chiedere quanti soldi hanno fatto perdere le pagine dei giornali all'estero sugli ultimi fatti di Berlusconi».

Il Castello dei Savoia Acaja di Fossano




Il Castello dei Savoia Acaja è il simbolo della città di Fossano.
Edificio medioevale del 1300 fatto costruire dai principi Savoia Acaja prima con lo scopo difensivo e poi come residenza signorile, si trova in posizione centrale, nella parte più elevata della città.
Caratteristica principale è la sua pianta quadrata con ai lati quattro alte torri. Queste hanno un aspetto piuttosto singolare: sono poste diagonalmente, tutte a pianta rettangolare, eccetto due che sono arricchite negli angoli interni da due ulteriori torrette scalari e semi cilindriche.
Fessure cieche nella facciata ne alleggeriscono l’aspetto, mentre merlature e loggette bianche sulle torri lo rendono più elegante.
Tutto intorno al castello scorre un fossato, oggigiorno vuoto e trasformato in un piccolo teatro all’aperto.

La bella scalinata che da Via della Pieve porta a corso Giovanni XXIII porta l'insolito nome di "Scalinata del sposi" .... forse perchè location preferita per gli scatti dei fotografi di nozze?
E' intitolata ai frateli Piatti, artisti di Varese che a Cuneo aprirono un laboratorio per la creazione di sculture ed opere in marmo.
I due busti rappresentanti "Il giovane guerriero" e "Afrodite" situati in cima alla scala sono stati realizzati da Leonardo Piatti.
Purtroppo "Afrodite" è stato recentemente oggetto di atti di vandalismo.
